MyGM picture.

The new 2K NBA game is fresh out of the racks and everybody is talking about it. The game has been completely overhauled and upgraded compared to the previous version and we can say nothing but kudos to the developers. Every aspect of the game got improved, from the outstanding visuals to enhanced gameplay. What we want to talk about a bit more is the GM mode we all love. We have prepared a shortlist of players we believe can be the carriers of your franchise. Find out which players we like the most and get some locker codes for free.

Kyrie Irving

If you are not aware of the fact, Kyrie is only 25 years old. This means he can be a franchise player for the next decade easily. Boston Celtics did a great job when they acquired Kyrie, getting him out of LeBron’s shadow, willing to take the Celtics to the championship. He is a complete shooting guard, excellent finisher with very good defensive skills. His job is to command the floor with his new lieutenants: Gordon Hayward and Al Horford.

Devin Booker

A clinical finisher of the Suns made a name for himself in the league in the past year. Averaging above 22 points per game at only 20 years of age, Devin is bound for superstar ratings. His current rating in NBA 2K18 is 85. We predict that it will reach 90 in 2K19.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Greek Freak soared above so many rims the past season. We saw him above the rim regularly and we think this season will be even better for Giannis. With only 22 years behind him, he is already a leader of the Bucks. His incredible physique allows him to run the floor in a few long strides, handle the ball like a PG and then perform a thunderous dunk. Giannis is sure to become a regular All Star and the go-to man for the Bucks. His 91 rating is only going to go up.

Karl-Anthony Towns

This young man came into the league two years ago as the number 1 draft pick. And he delivered. Averaging 25 points and 12 rebounds per game, he is one of the leading centers in the game and a player the Timberwolves will want to keep for a long time. The 7 footer is a dominant presence in the paint, but his game is so well-rounded and versatile, on both end of the court. It might feel that one ball will not be enough for the Wolves because they acquired Wiggins and Butler, but the KAT will definitely deliver his numbers.

Nikola Jokic

Finally, the guy nobody expected to succeed, Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets. He came into the league as a complete unknown and now he is the basis of the Nuggets’ offense. We predict a 20 point and 10 rebound average for him, but his assists are what fuels the Denver game and gets the fans on their feet. Nikola will be an interesting choice for every GM to build a franchise around.
